...You may not have heard that the usually lovely people behind all of this useful blogging environment are planning to data mine our data. It looks innocent enough, but can we be too careful? I've opted myself and the communities i manage out of the scheme. That's right... you have to opt out... or else you're automatically opted in. Like U.S. school kids and their military. Dodgy? You decide!

and enter this for your journal:

set opt_exclude_stats 1

or this for communities you run:

I guess i'm just being as stubborn spanner in the works... i'm aware it's no where near as dodgy as it sounds... but i'm doing it anyway :P I've no idea why... irrational, maybe... harmful?... doubtfully.

I'm not getting on with them anyway. Maybe that is the source of my belligerence? I've got an axe to grind :P
