Reflection
2002-11-02 09:09 pmThe kinda thing you get when you look in a mirror.
A mirror image.
A Duplicate.
Identical in every way...
...except...
...it's reversed.
So what's new?
Nothing really.
Same old, same old.
Just new people.
Same problems.
Same grind.
Same life.
Same troubles.
Same.
Duplicate.
Identical.
Same.
I've visited my Dad, visited Matt, came home last weekend to visit my family, some friends, Caz, came home this weekend to visit too...
...I was gonna stay a week, but really...
...there's nothing here for me...
...I'll just help my mum pack the rest of my things, so that she can move house while I'm at Uni, so when I next come home, I'll not be home.
The social side of Uni is alright I guess.
Meeting new people is always...
...interesting?
But the same old pattern arises.
I'm gonna join some clubs.
Join the gym first.
Start juicing too.
Then maybe move onto the rowing club.
Possibly Tai-Chi... it's only attended by girls I hear.
Hmmmm...
...I'm still sticking to my taking no addictive drugs thing.
Given up all red meat too.
Just Chicken and Fish now, yummy.
Cya at Xmas.

(no subject)
why stopping eating red meat? I'm doing the same, but I wondered what your reasons where. It is quite strange that we seem to take similar dietry decisions at the same time. I'm also attempting to go vegetarian. I'm not anti-eating animals per-se, but I can't hack the way quite a lot of them are treated.
There is, of course, a clause on all this, for me at least. If people offer me food of pretty much any variety, I'll eat it. I don't care enougth to put other people out of their ways. If people happen to see me not eat meat, or coke, and think that I am a vegetarian, good for those people :D
Re:
Date: 2002-11-04 04:27 am (UTC)I've given up red meat for health reasons mainly. I would buy my chicken and fish free-range, but I'm a student :S
I don't eat the food stuffs I've given up if they're offered to me... apart from chocolate... I eat that on birthdays, cause everyone seems to have chocolate cake! Grrr.
Hope everythings going swell in Manchester.
