yearn to be learning - burn your earnings
well well well,
another entry.
*thinks about what he's been up to*
just generally been trying to sort myself out...
...build up motivation and eat healthily,
while sorting out my financial crisis,
and relationship issues.
it's all going generally well,
and i hope to spend the Easter break studying hard,
rather than earning money.
sounds odd, but that's my plan, stan.
Matt visited this weekend just gone,
i showed him the 'glory' of Hull :P
he hardly had a moment to get his bearing,
when i whisked him away to my favourite place in Hull...
...The Lamp... a cool and relaxed bar kinda place.
I think he enjoyed it :)
Then it was pretty much business as usual, cause Hull is infact...
...shite.
I showed him the union bar on Saturday,
and a small alternative club called Adelphi...
...although unfortunately, it was a shite MC night,
plus we didn't pay to get in, we just sat in the back room, heh.
Sunday was a day of relaxation,
and i seem to remember lots of spates of walking around during the weekend.
In all, i think i thoroughly bored the hell out of the poor lad,
but he assured me 'all was cool', not necessarily in those words mind :P
Was a pleasure having you over, and a welcome chance to keep our friendship :D
In other news...
...the world is a bunch of mind-splittingly annoying shite.
While i try and reconcile theories of all kinds in my mind,
the world continues completely unaware, along it's path of certain stupidity.
If only they'd wait for me to tell them where they're all going wrong :P
Seriously, some major blueprints are formulating in my mind on various topics,
ranging from the mundane to the meta-physically non-existant...
...(but if it exists as an idea, surely it exists, as such)...
i still have many ideas and problems to solve, obviously,
and also have to keep up to date on current world events,
while also making sure i don't...
...as i have been doing for most of my life...
...neglect my well-being and social life etc.
All rather... exciting, i'm sure.
Hmmm, what can i talk about that's actually interesting?

Ummm... ok, a few ideas that have been going around my mind recently.
A) Think about the functioning of a Satellite (sp?) for a moment...
...now think about it's view of the Earth, and how, incredibly,
it has to transmit a signal that is not only clear and decodeable,
but the beam also spans entire countries, even continents...
I dunno how to make it as epic as i can imagine...
...but just think of this lump of technology, smaller than a car,
much lighter, and somehow able to power itself efficiently enough,
to be able to broadcast a enormous beam...
...constantly.
Now imagine a network of these, floating up there,
purely to serve 'Sky' customers.
Now imagine how many networks we're needing for all the services.
Also remember that these are usually Geo-stationary...
...a humongous grid of metal objects,
constantly beaming information to the surface of the globe,
and also, eerily, never seem to move in relation to that surface.
They move 'with' the rotation of the planet.
Now throw in some more... one's that zip around the Earth every 90 minutes...
...spy satellites and the like...
...throw in the Hubble telescope, the I.S.S...
Do you get the picture?
How about all the floating junk we've lost up there...
...the satelites we no longer use...
...it's extraordinary.
I think.
B) Blah... Meh... there is no B :)
Ummm, in 'other' other... not so much news, more, me rambling...

They are really worried about a lump of orbital space junk hitting another lump of orbital space junk, because then there'd be more, that is more likly to hit other stuff, and it's an exponentially increasing amount of orbital space junk, meaning space ships can't get through.
Confining us once again to earth. I think there's something vaugley ironic about that, especially if it happens

If i ran things, the space program would be terminated...
...or at least put on hold until we sort out issues here on Earth.
We spend billions on space projects...
...while people still die of something as basic as starvation,
i think it's sick.
